What each requested permission is used for.
| Permission | Why it's needed |

| Internet / network state | Streams station audio and detects when you are offline so playback fails gracefully. |
| Foreground service (media playback) | Keeps a station playing when you switch to another app or lock the screen. |
| Wake lock | Prevents the device sleeping from cutting off audio during playback. |
| Notifications | Shows the playback controls for the station you are listening to. Declining this does not stop playback. |
