Reconnect sends local notifications reminding you to contact people you have chosen to follow up with, on a per-person cadence. Everything is stored on your device. Reconnect has no account, no server, and no analytics.

Permissions
What each requested permission is used for.
| Permission | Why it's needed |

| Notifications | Delivers the follow-up reminders. Reconnect has no other way to reach you, so declining this disables its core function. |
| Contacts (not requested) | Reconnect uses the system contact picker, which returns only the one contact you tap. It never requests access to your contact list and cannot read it. |
